Thumbs up Just thought I'd let the Hawaii boys know....

I am now the exclusive distributor for Adams Polishes in Hawaii. I took in 2 pallets of gear yesterday and if anyone needs anything, I am going to extend a special price on all in stock items & detailing kits for the Hawaii chapter of i-Club. You guys have always been cool to me when I moseyed over here to chat, and I wouldn't mind returning the kindness when I can.

Adam's is a high end car care line of products that has given me a better shine than anything else I've ever tried, including Zaino, so I went and pursued a distributorship. Here are some pics of the EFI Design project Murci I've been working on.....

If anyone is interested, please contact me via email at dave@efiunlimited.com and I will make sure you are all squared.

That seriously sucks that there's condensation inside the tail lenses of that beautiful car...!

Tell me about it. The car needs some TLC, and then I will be selling it off for the current owner.

really? even zaino? I'm using the stuff and I love the shine and the feel of the car after I polish the car.

is this stuff that you're selling a similar process as zaino?

PM me a price list or something...

Jon

Adam's is a ton faster than Zaino. On my Z06, I went from wash/dry/clay/detail wipe/scratch remover (spot)/revive/butter wax and wipe in less than 4 hours. Car looked darker and the paint surface, more liquid than anything I've used including Pinnacle Souveran, NXT, & Zaino. The pricing for all i-Club members will be a special price point, so you will need to email me for more info. FYI, you can buy the kits or you can buy ala carte. I also have some samples, so let me know if you want some or if you want a demo done on a panel on your car. I'm happy to show the product. It comes with a 110% money back guarantee......if you don't like it, return it for the cost + 10% for your trouble.....How's that?

I don't see any supporting vendors for paint care stuff on the site, so I hope I am not violating any forum rules. I just figured I'd throw some love to the Hawaii chapter.

Also, with the volume and support I get, you shouldn't have any problems getting a hold of it whenever you need it. I know from experience, Zaino was hard to find sometimes and the wait times were long.

I can vouch for these products too. I used to use Zaino on my STi, S2000, RX-8, and M3. I switched to Adams' on my Evo VIII and love it, especially the detail spray and glass cleaner. Much easier to use and faster. Great shine and protection too I'm sticking with Adams till something else better comes along.

did you guys use the zfx kit for zaino it eliminates cure time in between coats... i like it and have found a guy locally thats the only distributor of the stuff. He works out of his house.

but if you say adams is better then I'll have to see it for myself... of course since my car is white it's hard to do!

how does this stuff differ from the zaino polish?

zaino you need to strip with a prewash (liquid dawn)
clay bar with diluted (SP?) car wash
zaino polish (zfx if you want no cure time)
quick detail in between coats of zaino polish
scratch removal if necessary (zfx works with this too)
...etc.

is the adams products water based?

Jon

No need to strip with pre-wash.
Clay bar with detail spray.
No cure time (just wait till dry (couple minutes)
Quick detail also with detail spray
Scratch removal included in kit with "revive polish"
*Adams' polish and wax: way easier to remove/work with

These are just my observations. Correct me if I'm wrong

sounds good... maybe I'll try some once my zaino kit is used up... pretty soon!

I do have to admit though the first time I used zaino the shine is amazing even on my white car! the car feels so "soft" if you know what I mean! It's ONLY a polish not a wax so it doesn't leave that white crap when you take it off...

regarding the adams though...

is it wax or a polish or both? does it leave that white crap when you take it off or does it dry clear?

i like that the adams comes in a container (bucket) that you can use for storage and for use for washing your car that's good and it also can be used as a stool.

how long does the protection last in rain...etc.

Jon
