nice, been looking at the NRG carbon ones, they look exactly like those. I like NRG, they have quality for the price.
i think they are 1/2 the price of those, i think around $85??

Ultra rare cross-drilled JDM hood dampers. They do look good though!

Ugh. Talk about another pet-peeve. When I get out of my car (and I'm like 6'6" / 285lbs, so it's not always easy) I am ultra careful about not dinging anyone's door. I can't count the number of times I've smashed my fingers putting my hand between my door and someone else's car.

My fiance had a lady hit our truck a few years ago in the parking lot - she was sitting in the car filling out some paper, and the lady pulled in and opened her door so forcefully that our truck shook. ...she then just walked off into Ala Moana like nothing happened. Sheesh. People are so damn disrespectful across the board these days. Grrr. .rant off. sorry

Yeah...me too...I care too much about other peoples cars...

Here is one for you...I went to school in Fairbanks Alaska...there, in a Safeway parking lot, we were just getting out and the same thing happened to us...

this lady drives up in this boat, and opens her car door soo hard against my door that it shakes my car...I get out and say very calmly "Did you know you just put a dent in my door with your car..." and she says in a witchy, very loud way "I put it to you to prove that in a court of law" and starts stomping off...

So I am standing there kind of thinking "what the fu..", my friend on the other hand is really pissed, and does a major spinning back kick on her door, mashes her door in...she stops in her tracks with her mouth wide open...he calmly says..."Have a nice day"...and we drive off...with her still standing there looking at her door...

This really happened as I've said it...crazy world we live in...heh heh

^^ Heh, I've keyed someone's car right in front of them after they slammed their door into mine while I was standing right by my car. It was a while ago but damn that felt good.

Talking Yeah....I was smiling for a while...

until I looked at the ding in my door....people man...some just don't get it....and never will...

The picture of that woman standing their in disbelief (I'm sure she has done this before from that choreographed remark of hers)...was really worth a million dollars though...I don't think she did that again, and I bet she didn't think another person crazier than her existed...thats the last frontier for ya...heh heh

Yeah...I'm real happy with the way the dampers look but most importantly work...I also ordered a set for my cousin Daniel's 04 WRB Sti...his car is looking pretty awesome...he bought the SP1's and we just put a gruppe-s header on...Cusco touches, Defi Gauge, and he's going to drop his car with coilovers soon...one mean looking sti...he's kind of busy all the time but I'll get him out to the cruise this summer...

You gotta take a look at it...pretty tight fit in there though...I also have the Cusco heat shield...had to bend that a little to get everything to fit...I will have to remount it though if I decide to go with the FMIC...that piping goes right through where the catch can and engine damper goes...crud...

Brent, your car is lookin' great.

I bet the occasional under-hood checkups are that much easier.

About the story of the lady, I don't think i'd have enough ***** to do that for fear of repercussions, but I must say that would have "made my day" for the whole week!

Chalk one up for the good guys.
