True, guess its all about what you want to start with. Starting with 300hp isnt a bad thing at all. =) Theres no way I wouldnt mod an STi after a bit anyways, would just be the initial extra $10k investment so not as much cash lying around to mod with. =)

The wait would also kill me... Im not a patient person when it comes to my toys... =(

Cool! Thanks for the info, WfknRX! I totally agree with you about the mainshop on Beretania. They're a bunch of idiots and boneheads. My pop also got a rex, and the BOTH times that he took it there for servicing, they screwed on the aftermarket wheel cap on wrong! Totally fckd up the thread and all!
Thanks for the info also, Nolimit. I guess Chris is all talk. Should have known. When I got my rex, my cool salesguy told me that Chris was trying to burn me on my trade-in.
My two cents on the STI; yes, very desirable, but I'd be paranoid as s@*t parking it anywhere! All it takes is a nice keying to make a jealous person's day.

dammit. i have to take off to take everything off!
just bring it to Waipahu.. dont worry about your stuffs. As long as you are not claiming warranty "related" to the modification.

Thanks Ed... Do I call Waipahu to make the appointment for the recall notice? Who do I talk to?

Chris tried to fight for the turbo timer- explaining it to the higher ups about its benefits and should not void the warranty. Remember- he pushed for the wrx open track, and gave away lots of stuffs. Some how he still on our side, unfortunately there are people who are higher than him in this company.
