Jon, my friend. Where does it say we've got to keep it strictly Suby in this regional forum?

It seems to me that it makes sense that the only purpose for the HIIC is that it is 'regional' meaning it's a place for us, although anyone is welcome to post in here; and that we have to obey Alex' and Joey's rules.

This is a place where we need to communicate moreso than just learn and teach, sell stuff, or spread news and rumors concerning the Impreza. In a regional forum, we need to be able to shape the HIIC 'group' in the same way the BAIC shapes their's. As a whole, whether right or wrong, I'd say the HIIC is more concerned with motorsports and novice automotive engineering than we are with the vehicles' apearances. I'd say we also like to meet in person more than we like to communicate on here. I'd say that we air mainly men and we all like to look at slightly clad women. I'd like to think that for the folks who have been on here for a while and have gotten to know each other personally we like to be able to sort of chit chat and shoot the poo poo.

My feeling is that having a virtual 'venue' like that is an awesome thing. I personally have learned more about my car from HIIC. I've met some genuinely good people, including you. I've got a neverending source of spank material. I have a place where I can ask any question; non-car related and get a pretty lucent answer - read computers, in my case.

Anyhow, we all know where the good technical Suby forums are. The purpose of this one is much more inclusive.

I know that there are technical forums out there that we are supposed to use but as you stated I get more answers from HIIC than any other technical forum on i-club. Reason probably is because we all know each other!

I miss the days where it was ok to post technical information about our cars in this forum. Those days are gone now!

I as well have met a lot of people and learned a lot about cars on this forum. It's just he atmosphere has changed so much and the subject matter of this board has changed!

Not saying that it sucks but it would be nice to see some things related to our cars on HIIC rather than off the subject topics. (just my opinion... I am still entitled to that aren't I?)

There's nothing stopping you from posting ?'s about the car, at least until they get deleted. Or at least you could post in here as well as in the technical areas.
