Can you check my jiffy lube record and see WHAT transmission fluid they used when I had it done like a few months ago? Ever since, it's been having a MUCH MUCH MUCH harder time getting into first and I was wondering if the correct fluid was used.
I'm gonna go Redline MT90 soon but just thought I'd ask.
What info do you need?

^^^LOL...it's more like the whole problem with getting into 1st gear when I'm at speeds above 5 MPH.
Before I did the tranny fluid change I was getting it in at about 15-20 mph.
My hope is that they'll change my fluid for free but i supply the fluid.
I mean I can do it myself but hell i paid money for it to be done in the first place.

it mainly has to do w/ your new fluid is to slick.
do search on tranny forums and see some of the mixes people have going on.
or you can just purchase a new pressure plate

well if they DIDN'T use the right fluid and it damaged your tranny that will be a problem!
However you have to find out what type of fluid was used first and if it is the wrong type you might have to do a flush then put in your fluid. you might want to look into your fluid again. I do not think the MT90 (GL-4) meet all the requirements for our tranny. you will want to go with the 75w90 since it is GL-5 rated and if I'm not mistaken our tranny calls for GL-5... I could be wrong though
