Walt, I had two Celicas a '72 like the one you posted. It was white. It had TRD fender flares and the same duck-bill front spoiler as the one in your picture. 13 x 6 SR5 wheels painted white w/Pirelli P6 tires. JDM motor swap to a 2TG motor w/dual 40 side drafts, TRD race header and HKS lightened flywheel. The car handled like a go-kart (and stiff like one too). My other Celica was a '76 liftback also with TRD flares, stock 20R motor with dual 44 Mikuni side drafts, Engle cam, Doug Thorley header, and a Centerforce clutch. Damned I gotta go look for that old shoebox of pictures. The '72 was like a road racer, but the '76 was kinda muscle car looking, it had fat tires in the rear and skinnier ones in the front.

^^^ 44 Mikuni side-drafts FTW!!! Boop boop!!!
I also ran 44 Mikunis on my 3TC, Norris Cam, Doug Thorley Headers, Centerforce II Clutch w/ lightened flywheel. Had widened SR5 rims on the back w/ 245/50 13 Mickey Thompsons & 145/70 13 BFG on the fronts. Damn I miss that car!

That's why I love the "Boxer Rumble" so much! Reminds me of my SR5 Coupe. I'd love to build another one but I can imagine how hard it would be to find parts for it.

You still got a set of Mikunis?!?!

I seen one guy trying to sell em for about $1000 on CL not too long ago.

You should clean it all up, have it polished & mount it on a shelf in your house.

I found one of the those GNX's before! And in a surprising place that's actually right under everyone's collective nose!
