Pat - I don't think it'll be worth going to the insurance company. I think most of it can be buffed out. I'd rather live with a slight scratch than break the factory paint seal. My deductible is $500 anyway - so unless they paint the whole side of the car it wouldn't be worth me filing.

Richard, I'm gonna get my detailer to try get mine off tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes. I'll ask about keying on white and if its easy to remove or not. Trying out this new place near work where they pickup/deliver. Been hearing good stuff about them. 100 smacks for a complete detail, 50 for a wash/vac/wax. not bad compared to what i used to pay.

i guess it's some kind of a disease or something (mabey someone really hates getting embarassed by subies) but I just noticed today that mine has been keyed too!! What the f*** is wrong with people...at least they had the decency to key it where you can't see it. It's up behind the spoiler, and one of my taller friends had to point it out to me>>>
