I've got a confession
Well here it is. Yesterday i traded in my 04 STi for an 08 Evo X. I wanted a brand new car and they gave me a pretty good deal and way more than i owed on my trade in. They wanted to sell the car more than i wanted to buy, if anyone's looking to buy a new car this is the time thanks to the economy.
that also means theres gonna be an 04 STi for sale pretty soon wherever they decide to sell it at. if you guys hear of anybody buying it, i've got the accessport for it, ill give a good deal to a suby guy.
dont know if theyll end up trying to convert to stock or sell modded but...
my STi had:
-Greddy Evo2 catback
-Invidia v2 bellmouth downpipe
-Kartboy shifter bushings
-carbing CF pulley cover
-Eibach sportline springs
-Work Emotion CR Kai wheels 17x8.0
-Cobb 2 way adjustable short shifter
-year old hawk hps brake pads
-pioneer avic-Z2 navi (unlocked to play movies and search while in motion) w/ipod cable in glove box (i left some music on the hard drive cuz didnt know how to mass delete so said F it)
-audio integrations perfect fit sub enclosure with (kinda weak) 12" memphis audio sub
-some weak alpine amp
i feel bad leaving the suby community but i was pretty stagnant with that car for a while and decided it was time for a change (i'll probly end up getting back into a suby if they start going in the right direction hopefully by the 2012 model or so)... its not you baby, its me. can we still be friends?
not very flattering pictures, hard to get a good angle in this damn carport.
the legendary cheap interior
haha those idiots at mitsu seemed to have mistakenly mounted the TMIC on the front... interesting concept. seriously though what is half this crap? i gotta hit up some Evo forums.

yeah I'm pretty excited about my first BRAND NEW car. And it is spacious as hell, a little too spacious almost. If anybody else is considering an evo or just wanna check out the competition, ill be around.
FYI it's way slower than my stg2 sti but it's got potential... Just gotta break it in.

You should've parted out sir...many of your expensive mods are easily swapped out. I'm sure they didn't give you any value on your trade-in for any of that stuff.
You could've made a few thousand OR transferred to the Evo.
Anyways, good stuff, congrats on the Evo...nothing wrong with buying an Evo...well unless you have 4 kids plus a wife and you were supposed to buy a van.

Congrats! The wife and I made the jump back in August to the Evo X MR. She absolutely loves the car. Personally the Evo has hella more potential than any STI I have driven. I wish I could of had that sorta steering and suspension response when my STI was brand new instead of dropping extra cash on suspension goodies to get it to where it was at (before the accident).
Anyhow enjoy the new purchase and you will find Evo owners are same as Suby owners cause they still say wassup on the roads (most atleast).
Oh and if you see a GG MR with a female driving with car seats in the back thats my wife.
