i've been thinking...and i've come to a decision..
i am going to stop modifying my car untill i graduate college...and get a good job...
(dont ask...i think it'll be better for me and my future)
just wanted to write this out somewhere...speak my mind...been thinking about my future thats why.....and i think its the sudafed i took earlier..........
but anyway...i want to buy "rally_wrx's" BOV.....hopefully he'll sell it to me...then....from there on...no more mods.......
...unless a really really good deal comes my way....

Geez....I'm gonna keep modding but as money allows. You see, after college you gotta think about stuff like rent/mortgage, savings, retirement, life insurance, stocks, taxes, etc.
So yeah...unless you make good scrip or don't mind oweing money to the man (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX and Disco) it's still hard when you get into the REAL WORLD!

actually, i was thinking the same.. but, i was thinking more towards selling my wrx and buying a cheap car. see, i would like to try and save up now for a house.. but, if i sell my wrx, i KNOW i WILL regret it.

this discussion leads to something i was going to bring up but never did.
the wife and i are in the middle of selling our house and trying to buy one here... if we didn't have a 1,100 dollars going out just for the cars i think i would feel less of a burden.
to buy a house here on oahu is definitely a challenge. but i am blessed with an awesome realtor. my advice to those caught up with dropping money on your car and paying rent....... change your train of thought. as awesome as these cars may be... it will rust, creak, rattle and croak-and by then its worth squat. if a house does the same its still worth more $$ than when it was 1st bought.
just a little token of positive advice.
