sakebomb,

some of you choices are suspect in my opinion. I would make some different recommendations. No offense, but it seems like you're putting parts together that may or may not work as a "team". For instance, scrap Cobb engine management if you want a Garret. And if you want a Garret, you'll need more than STI injectors. I have a UTEC myself and a stage 4 FMIC with a pnp VF34. I'd go with APS for your front mount. Perrin after sale support is slim to none, and slim ain't in town. I've had Cusco sway bars and have changed to Hotchkis Competition set. The Cusco were good, no complaints. The Hotchkis have stronger rates. The Competition set comes with heavy duty rear mounts, front and rear endlinks, and of course bars (rear is adjustable). Scrap the fuel rails. Until you're making goofy power you won't need them, and even then it's questionable (unless it's just for bling). I have mixed emotions about the Tein Flex coilovers. I've run them for years, and tracked them as well. They're a good coilover, but a bit "harsh" (and mine were 5f/5r, not the new stiffer rates). If you're not going to track the car aggressively, and don't mind a stiff ride, they're OK. As for uppipe, I'd go with one that doesn't have fitment issues. Not saying Perrin does, I just know some other uppipes have great fitment. I used to have some Perrin parts on my car. I practically gave them away (check my trader rating). There are no Perrin parts on my car, nor will there be. Their customer service sucked. The only company worse I've dealt with was WMR. It seems like most of your posts in this thread are going in opposite areas. Try to think about the total "package" you want. I have lots of opinions/recommendations on other parts that you should look into as well as ones you can skip for awhile. Give me a call if you want. Home 422-2595, cell is 255-8591.
