another question, will that safc be compatiable with my utec or should i just use to utec to tune out the air flow and all that? thinking about going with the apexi avc-r also, but so far using the turboxs mbc, thanks

you don't need the afc with the utec, ... that's part of the utec's job (tuning the fuel map).

as far as the avc-r, it's a nice boost controller, but personally I don't like it as much as others out there (just personal preference). My two choices right now would be the Greddy E-01 or Blitz SBC-id III.

Andrew, what's wrong with the map you are running now? If it's not working out for you, try a TXS stage 4 with FMIC map and pull 2 degrees timing across the board. At least that's what they recomend for lower octane. You can then tune from there.

 

Waianae, don't want to end up in the wrong place there. Since we all have to convoy there following Andrew, 4 - 5 Subys in a row will attact attention. lol
