My car safety expired last month and I didn't notice can any recommend a place that I can pass? I've been to four places already but all said recon. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What do you have on your car?
If you can pass Recon, go get Recon done! The Recon tech's are pretty damn cool about stuff, so no worries.

Having an exhaust does not require you to have recon. The suspension does, but why even tell them you have suspension? You could always raise your ride height to make it look more stock and then if they ask (but I doubt they will) about why your car is so stiff, you can say that its from the factory like that. I've never had issues with my cars going to get a safety check...the only issue I've had is where my sticker goes since I don't want th sticker on my bumper but on my plate instead.

Dude, I had the same thing and someone stole it. I was at the McDees in Waianai (sp) and I see the dude walk up and just tear it out my bumper! Then got in his hardbody and drove off! I watched it all happen! What an ahole!

Heh, even worse, I found someone's metal plate (with the safety inspection stickers and recon sticker) lying on one of the Ward parking lots driveways -- apparently the guy was so slow, he scraped off his own plate

So I did the right thing and gave it the first cop I saw (about a block away). Young haole cop; he was so paranoid-looking when I walked over and said, "Excuse me, officer, excuse me..."
