Initial decision about the shirts...

I think we have to come to an understanding here first in regards to the t-shirt design contest and subsequent ordering and manufacturing of the shirts.

We are limiting ourselves to the designs to be created based on how much everyone wants to spend on the shirts. The bottom line is the more colors, the more expensive it becomes, not to mention the amount of shirts that need to be purchased to keep the costs down.

We have to decide as a group how much each of us would be willing to spend on a shirt. If we have an idea, then the artists that are working on designs can be more creative.

Also, if we pick a desgin and it is more complicated and therefore expensive, we must stick with it. No one ***s out and doesn't live up to the commitment that they make. Greg and I are putting money in just for the design contest. I think it's only fair that the rest of us put up or shut up. You want someting nice and extravagant, you gotta pay for it. I'm willing to do so...how about the rest of you?

Those prices are pretty high for a T-Shirt...

I've been doing up the shirts for the Karate school my son goes to...usually about 5-7 colors, front, back, and a sleeve design...

Here are some examples of what we have done...these are some shirts we used at the National competition level and local tournaments...

All of these were printed on high quality, no label, Hanes Beef-T heavy t-shirts...

The background colors are the shirt colors we chose to go with the design...

I agree with Brent, it shouldn't cost that much. Im still new to i-club and was wondering how much did the last one cost? Like Im sure that it costs a little more because we aren't printing a few hundred (or are we?), but it shouldn't be that much more.

American T-shirt<---- gives reasonable prices on blank t-shirts...I always buy from them when ordering company t-shirts....

approximately $2.15-$2.50/per shirt depending on the quantity you purchase we purchase 150 to 250 per order (if I remember correctly haven't ordered company shirts for awhile)....Hanes, Fruit of the Loom pretty much whatever brand you want and the weight of the material (heavyweight cotton is always the best and lasts the longest)

G/L and I'll buy a couple of them 20-25 to support the crew

Island Style has the price about right for the total costs to produce the t-shirts

here's the number if you guys are interested 842-4466

from what I've been seeing on this board since I've been on this board that majority of the people here LOW BALL ON EVERYTHING!!!

I'm not trying to knock your thread Joey but you know it as well as I do that people only want to pay the LOWEST IMPOSSIBLE price for something.

with me making the last shirt at 12 per I got a **** load of complaints about the price... Most people that said they'd pay that much did NOT eventually paying having me stuck with the bill.

Just some thoughts for the people that answer this poll...

regarding this poll though if the design justifies the price then I'll pay anything for a good quality shirt (doesn't matter the brand) and a good design that makes it a HIIC shirt and not just a i-club.com shirt

What about making it a polo shirt.... with the design/logo on the pocket area.... then on the seam of the sleeves... have that persons user name on it..... just my 2cents...that would be 1 of a kind.. thunder_sti

not to burst your bubble but to have each shirt custom made with peoples user names would be insane on cost.

also this idea has already been mentioned time and time again.

Polo shirts would be to expensive to purchase and it would also be to hot.

Its not that of a hassle to get it custom made...few letters....but anyways..... I really dont care...Im still gonna buy 2 no matter what design it is....You should just give your ideas and make the shirt instead of saying to everone who is trying to bring ideas to the table... its been brought up before..then why make a thread to come up with ideas...
