i would just be worried about the cars issue. if they are stock then you are fine. otherwise, if you have them lowered or have externally visual modifications, you will/might not get the safety check needed to register your cars here and have to get recon first which is a PITA. once you are here, you can get away with it for a year at a time.

the main items. make your car close to stock height, put on stock rims and stock exhaust. once here, then back to normal.

Rims or exhaust that aren't stock won't pass inspection?? They are stock, but that's a bit odd...

Hangbot: I forgot about that... my bad. But I'll the giver!

DC: 2 Rexes? Damn... u love them subies... as for recon, yeah... anything bigger than 1" from ur OEM spec will cause some drama (?) Correct me, B. I don't know the process too well.

Well Oahu is way better than DC. I really don't have any complaints. Well I used to always go to like the rockville meets and way back in the day if you know METRO and people would do street racing like that. But that is if your into that stuff. Ummmm......You will probably spot like 8 WRX's in one day here and DC you might see 8 in like a whole month.......The Thursday meets are pretty cool...Living conditions are good. It really depends where you come from in DC....because some homes are HUGE...but if you have any other questions let me know.

Any CARB legal exhaust will pass. I'd be more worried about suspension mods. Shouldn't be a big problem either as long as you meet the requirments(plates must be 12" off the ground and must have alignment that shows everything is within specs).

Here's my advice, move somewhere else. There are about a million other places that are better than Hawaii in almost everyway. Don't get me wrong I liked some of the stuff in Hawaii, and I have lots of great friends still there.

I like Indiana all right, but I need a few more mountains. The land is so flat here it is hard to find a nice windy road. They are here and there, but I'm going to have to look into Colorado in a few years. There are just a few things that discourge me from living in Hawaii, the remoteness, small size mileage wise, population size, gas, and the fact that most people end up living at their parents house for the rest of their lives because unless you are very well off being able to afford and pay off a house that is worth $.02 anywhere else in the world is near impossible. Basically the cost of living is just TOO HIGH.

No Indy 500 over there! I don't think I'm going to go anyway. If you like Hawaii and can do well there then enjoy it. It's a cool place, and I did really enjoy living there for almost 2 years.
