I would rock this!!!
Has anyone seen the new Acura TL Type-S yet? Some say it is pushing subaru out of the way with it's legacysti styling. The guages are very subaru-esque, and if this car gets AWD like some of their other models, I'd be all over this. The price tag will be hefty. I'm assuming close to a year's paycheck for most. But again, i get excited, then when i test drive the car, i may get disappointed. It looks reaally, reaally interesting though as my first impressions are ........ME LIKEY!! OH yeah, to the Honda haters out there, try and hold judgement until it hits the streets.

blah. I have been a Honda fan for a long time but I'm not real impressed with it. The rims are too small for a sporty/luxury Type-S(and they look like a set of Wedsports, which I don't like) The engine is lacking in power. 3.5L with 286 hp=poo. I wonder if that's the 3.5L that they had from the 3.5RL? The exterior styling is not eye popping gorgeous by any means. I do like the interior,brembos,6-speed and exhaust though.

I was looking forward to that car coming out, but test drove an IS350 and now I'm hooked. Hmmm...

I feel that the WRX-STI was a major hit, and subaru shoud capitalize on it, and start releasing the STI kits on other lines. It would definitely sell, look at AMG for merc, SVT for ford. Simply put, a racing division from subaru has been a proven seller for the impreza wrx. It's unfortunate that the vast public may not realize it when they see it, but when they say "oh hey look, it's an sti", they know that sti is the ending part of impreza wrx sti

The WRX is ugly but in a very graceful yet powerful way. It demands respect, very similar to the Skyline which is not a sex machine, rather a beast wrapped in a boxy shell. I have had a few hondas/acuras and they are great cars but for the price range of the Type-S I don't think it has the sex appeal that it should. It has many nice features but If I wanted a sporty/luxurious car I would choose a BMW 330 based solely on the nice clean lines. The side profile seems to be a bit plain. However paddle shifters are way cool.

Maybe a got you pegged as a subaru elitist. You know the type. If so i apologize. I can appreciate all types of cars, so i keep an open mind. Hell, if given the opportunity, i'd be driving a JDM suzuki. BTW, my friend was in a band from WA called butt trumpet. hehe

mmmm butt trumpets
Did you notice it had paddle shifters, that is pretty fancy for a car under a bazillion bucks. No I like quite a few cars. I'm not much for the Camaros and Mustangs but whatever you want to drive is not my choice.
