I actually have gone up to many gas station managers and spoke with them about it, the guy that sells the 100 octane on king street was the most eager to give it a shot. Basically, if you have old pumps or old tanks you have to replace/modify them. Its expensive, and there isn't much demand for it here apparently. I'm sure there must be tax incentives for stations who would carry it, might help offset the cost but who knows. We get everything last, sucks but at least once its here it usually works well.

The reason we don't have it here is because our liberal-happy state is so dedicated to the electric car that lawmakers are brainwashing people into thinking that petrol, ANY petrol is the devil and electric cars are the savior of the Tasmainian Fruit Bat.
Seriously, this electric car movement has me stumped...

^^ I just don't understand it, don't people realize that electricity comes from petrol? And that the energy lost in that energy transfer makes it worthless! Where do they think the electricity comes from!

here we could pool some money together to buy http://www.microfueler.com/t-technology.aspx this and have a HIIC E85 station
http://www.microfueler.com/Efuel/Doc...0Rev02-01a.pdf
But, at 10 grand + a monthly subscription... And only 70 gallons a week unless you tack on the extra expensive stuff. I guess we could ration it...

but to touch on electric cars, have you ever seen the Tesla Roadster in action? if you haven't do a search on it. this thing has been proven to out accelerate and put a beat down on an F1.

not all electricity comes from petrol. you still have wind, dams, and the most popular one coal. i am not sure what Hawaii uses never really paid attention.
