Just remember, I am theorizing. I'm not saying that offset rings was the cause. A smart guy I'm talking to tells me that the rings rotate freely which would seem to pretty much assassinate my idea.

They might move but I have never heard of them moving and lining themselves up like that..Actually when you guys put that engine in you didn't even mess witht the pistons did ya because it came from Subaru already put together correct? So them not being lined up is not your fault. You might as well put some better forged pistons in there while it's apart. Hey pat me and you kinda alike if I think sometimes if we didn't have bad luck we wouldn't have any.. I really wish I was there to help or sit around and BS with ya. I am probably moving back to the mainland this summer and if things don't change I'll be in Arkansas where I will be buying a house hopefully one on a few acres I found one on 5 acres maybe I could set up a small dirt course...
