We have a few cars. My own personal car has the STI/wrx hybrid in it. Another car has the Crawford heads in it now.
Needless to say we will be pushing both setups before any other changes are made. Don't worry....we will keep you all posted
Chris
ps. I am a little partial to Island life seeing how I spent every summer ,for 10years, at one of my dads homes in Maui (Kehei, Kamaole Beach III...wooot )

DOH. NMYeti's 2.5l T3/T4 project motor just bit the dust on the dyno. DAMN. Was looking forward to seeing that thing kick some booty on the track. He did hit ~500whp before it went "Aloha".
2.5l block with aftermarket forged internals and EJ207 valvetrain. I suspect that the big power was possible due to the STi AVCS valvetrain bits and the T3/T4 TXS kit... Too bad it didn't last.

At 29psi it made 497whp and all was well. I did notice that my Fuel pump was not keeping up in the midrange and on the top end past 6000rpms the MAF sensor in our MAF housing is pegging at 5 volts before I apply my fueling corrections.
I should have stopped here. I knew I had some issues to work out, but we decided to try one more run with a little less voltage pulled out of the mix on the top end to try and richen the mixture back.
It was not to be. The car made the same HP. At the end of the run the noticed the car was running rough. I found a small vacuum line that had blown off the manifold (nothing major), but that explained my odd idle, or so I thought.
I looked over at my overflow bottle and noticed that there was a steady stream of bubbles in it. My first thought was head gasket, but chances of that are pretty slim since I am using wire-ringed copper gaskets.
I started the car this morning and the coolant bubbles are still there as is the smell of coolant in the exhaust.

I think it happened within the last couple of days. I haven't read anything new since last night.
Please note that this motor is Nathan's personal engine, and not the TurboXS "Monster Block" project...

yeah, I believe it was his block I saw his on nabisco, ... while he was kinda braggin about it (I think I might too if my motor was built ).
So who is going to be the first in Hawaii with a fully built EJ20/25?? hmm, does the STi short block count for the bottom half being built? I guess that's only half built b/c of the tiny reenforcements it has.
