Angry I really messed up this time...(Accessport V.1)

Well i was trying to change the base map on my accesport control and it failed to connect. i turn off the car, and i tried to restart the car again. i started the car like 3 times and the 4th time the car didn't start. And now my car can't start. i'm a daily driver so i really need my car running. So is there anyone who would meet up with me any time this week. i'll provide luch or something like that. Hit me up at 348-9472....this is Reggie. Does anyone know what to do, in this situation? i'll appreciate it is anyone one responds, because i in dying need of help. thanks yo.

your supposed to connect the two green tabs before doing the changes, then disconnect them before driving again. this may be it, not sure.

you can't change the base map without connecting the green plugs, it wont make any changes. I'd contact cobb or go on their forums

I remember about a year ago, someone else did this too.

Do a search in the HI forums and see if anything comes up.

Try it again...

Yeah...it shouldh't do anything if you try and reflash the basemap without the green connectors connected...

Go under, connect the two green connectors, try flashing in the basemap again...should take...when you are done...disconnect everything including the two green connectors and start your car up...

As mentioned above...call Cobb...they answer right away and can quickly help you...I've had to call them several times in the past and they have been very helpful.

i forgot to mention that when it said it had no connection when send, i paniced and shut of the car then pulled the accessport from the car. After that the car started for three times and the forth time it didn't want to start. When i panic i do stupid things and that was the reason why i. I read in the manual that you may damage your ecu if you don't do the process corectly. Maybe i need a proffessional to look at it, but i'll call up cobb for sure...................................Does anyone know when rayn works at vokamon, i'm considering letting him take a look at the situation. the person i bought the car from said that he baught the accessport at vokamon. So ya thanks for all the feed backs really appriciate it.
