I got a $1000 dollars Cash Money
Since my car is stock so far, I am looking to purchase something that I can notice and at the same time not mess up my warranty with the dealership. I want to wait for my 30,000 mark for that. So here is what I was thinking.
Short throw shifter, (What kind though?) Non-adjustable* soemthing i really want
Engine Mounts, not sure if I need them
strut bars, whiteline maybe
I will take suggestions. I am going to the Philippines for a while and I will order them when I get back. Tazer, I need your help too with those fog light openings.
THanks

i read your post and for some reason i was thinkin about YO MAMAMA!! on mtv... 1000 dolla cassshhh MONNEEYY!!!! as far as mods.. i would probably just lower it on springs as your suspension isnt even covered in the warranty and maybe a set of wheels

Go with suspension first, always a good idea to have a solid base for modifications. 300hp is plenty for the street. As for my 04 STi, all I have is a cat-back and a drop-in filter...five years of trouble free performance.

well, back to topic....$1k? buy the accessport since you can always unmarry it if you have to take it to the dealer....best bang for the buck and still have some money left behind for a cat back, KN filter and some bling, ....

if you're gonna wait until after the warranty is up:
Tires...Bridgestone Potenza RE750...don't get all-seasons, kind of pointless in HI...that should be about $600 or so mounted for 245 40 17 on your stock STi wheels.
Used DP off the boards...$150.
Rear Sway + endlinks off the boards...$150...hell I have a extra Whiteline 22-24 mm bar you can buy when I come home in March.
Upgrade Brake Pads new...$100
That should get you better cornering (Tires and Sway), better braking (Tires and Pads), and better acceleration (DP and Tires).
Anyways, you get the point, tires are the number one upgrade well that and Driver Skill Upgrade (I need that)
