my class and teacher was all making fun too because of the supposed storm this past christmas break. I think the day we all got off work it ended up being super sunny and nice in the afternoon.
It'd be nice to have the day off but I hope nothing serious happens.

The latest forecast track has it coming through the channel between Molokai and Oahu as either a weak tropical storm or a tropical depression.
I haven't checked in the last few hours, but I saw rainfall estimates of 10". Sustained 45-50mph winds can wreak havoc on this island. Remember...our power lines are *above* ground (rolls eyes).

One of the things I have to do next time I am home is fix the sloping of my mom's balcony. Right now nt all the water hits the drain so she has to sweep it to the drain...kinda ghey.
May have to rent one of those machines that can grind concrete or at least re-surface it.
I suck with concrete so i might end up just paying someone to do it.

Awwwww crap, I was supposed to start a new job sometime this week. Hope this storm doesn't effect it. Hopefully by some miracle it dies down and we just get mild wind and rain.

Unfortunately I don't think there's going to be anything mild about the wind or the rain. The estimates I've seen are 10+ inches of rain. That plus some thunder and lightning (lol remember Dec 26th last year?). I'd say we're in for a wet and windy day mid-week.
We can use the rain, just not all of it at once!
