How about a Meet?

I've been trolling the boards today, and I like how the BAIC has their little meets. Cruises are great, but a whole day is hard for some catz (I told you I was over at BAIC ) to handle. I know that there are always quite a few down at HRP, but I was thinking of someplace a bit more accesible for the townies and those of us up here in the boondocks.

Why not Chili's in Waikele. Lotsa parking over there in front of Home Depot, and there's always Japanese tourists around to impress.

There's also plenty o' parking down at Ward (wasn't there a Taco Tuesday meet thingy. down there?) We could "occupy by force" the big parking lot in front of D&B/the theater. Lots of visibility for all the folks down in that neck of the woods.

Just a thought. Build a little more comraderie and show off to passerby's. And then we can eat, too.

Just some thoughts.

Yes a big meet would be nice before mid may. I'd like to see everyone one last time.

Wow, didnt know you were leaving our little island of paradise Mitch. Good luck to you. Where you headed? Cali? And we NEVER think with the right head, remember that, all you can do is what you think is best (or what the little him thinks is best) and make the best of it. Be safe and represent Subies wherever it is you are headed...

I like Friday. The wife is expecting me to go to the track anyway, so Friday is good. Also, it's a nice prelude to Cinco de Mayo, for those that care.

You gonna re-wax the car again thursday or after you get home Friday? =) We keep hearing about how nice and shiny it is so we expect to see it! It blinded me in Waikele and I couldnt get a good look at it.

Wow, then imagine how it must look now. Actually I was too busy trying to look like an *** driving my new STi to look closely. Was gonna stop and chat, but something about cars behind me running into me when I slammed on the brakes made me think twice...

What wax you use? My prob is I cant wax it in the sun like it is all the time. Yes, no garage here. Yes, STi sits outside all the time. Im not thrilled about it, but Im stuck here for another year. I pull in and park and immediately throw up the cover hoping the haters dont see it.
