just some input, maybe should make the i-club a little easier to read. 'taggin' is cool, but sometimes too much things goin on is not good. but im no thug, so what do i know? just my .02

no offense but... it's not "taggin" as you so put it.

there is a big difference between what I just did and "taggin".

I'm just trying to make an attactive shirt that you can wear anywhere not just to a meet...etc.

thanks for your 2 cents. it is appreciated.

don't worry it will have a caption at the bottom that is easy to read.

Jon

yeah spitsecond, jon's days of tagging are over. he's into nOOb humpin nowadays. you may see him painting an occasional SRB on our freeway signs once in a while though.

on another note- jon, i don't like the design. thats just me. we have a much larger majority here than me, so that is my $.01 contribution. i may be a lil too ol' fashioned and plain- but das me- either way i need a shirt with some i-club name on it-

well... here are some that might help the situation. however I'd really like to add in what I hand drew on the shirt.

it's "cleaner" now since I had the time to actually convert it to "digital"

not as good as I hoped it would be and kinda hard to read... I'll do something with it!

just give me some time... ideas come very slowly but I'm sure I can come up with something that everyone will agree or can live with.

only hard thing is making the screen so complicated. either that or if someone can research having these printed on high quality tshirt transfers like vakamon does then I can make a much more complicated design and get what I want!

Oh... I'll still be needing a caption of some sort that will not alienate any one particular subaru owner. I cannot use Hawaii Impreza Club anymore that is why I wanted to add some sort of phrase that was posted in my original posting...

I've seen Subaru written in Katakana more often. I'm not sure Hiragana or Kanji would be appropriate.

When you posted the 3 separate designs in the black white and red, I liked the first one (Wite over red, no black). Screw the 6-star logo. The I-Badge is old-school and looks great. So good that it is my only visual mod.

Some feedbacks Jon (thanks for taking the time to do this):

Personally, I like the red on white concept. It really contrast the light and the dark w/ the white lines in the red area However, I'm not feeling the "what you just did." (since it's not taggin')

It would kick *** if it was an impreza for the background. (22B/Spec C... whatever) and have the white lines in the red regions.

Yay on Katakana, nay on Hiragana and Kanji. All JDM sites list makes and models in Katakana.

Technically they're under "Fuji Heavy Industries" <-- now that in Kanji would be cool but it doesn't identify us so stick to Katakana.

unfortunately I cannot make a design with just 1 car on it since that would be discriminatory (sp?) towards just one model.

since it's already been done by the bay area i figure I go another way.

I was thinking the katakana was the better way to go anyway!

fuji heavy industries is actually what we are i'll figure out something

where the hell is HANGBOT when you need him! dammit!

well "what I just did" is called a "piece" or peace. taggin is just scribbling a name down that you've given yourself that shows little or not self expression or any type of artistic ability.

I figure since we have both old and new guys in the club I'd hit it with a old to new skool flavor... again please keep in mind that this has to be non discrimintory towards any particular owner. how to do that you ask? my plain and simple answer is to not include a car on any of the shirts that I do. Please keep in mind that yes I do want to put some cars on the shirt...etc. but that would complicate the situation further and I don't have the skills for that.

what I'm really getting at is that I just want a nice shirt that everyone can appreciate. regardless of anyone buys the damn thing... It's great to have my "creative juices" flowing again after so long... it's good to know that I haven't lost all left brain operations to my job/family...etc.

oh well

Jon

富士重工業 <-- Fuji Heavy Industry, you can minus the last character "富士重工" and still make sense if the last character is hard to print. When I go home, I'll try to find a bigger version if you need it.

Yes, the katakana is correct.

less scribble and bendage to make "i-club" piece more eye-friendly caz I think people is gonna look at it and say what's that and you'll say "i-club" and they still won't see it IMHO...

like this? 富士重工業

that's the type of "style" i made the piece.. it's a 3d style type.

unfortunately without colors on it it's very hard to rear. that is why "i-club" is going through the middle of it to eliminate people saying they cannot see it
