Sorry for the late post but route is done!

After Ward Parking lot for the LOKAHI Project

-Turn onto Ala Moana Blvd West Bound

-Continue West Bound till you hit the H1 Freeway Westbound

-Proceed WestBound and take the H2 Freeway to Wahiawa

-Drive through Wahiawa, Haleiwa, Pupukea until you hit Kahuku

-Pull into the Old Sugramill Parking lot in Kahuku

-Get your Shrimp On

-CHILL FOR 1 hour over there

-Backtrack to Matsumoto's for Snack (Park in the same parking lot for AUW '09)

Last Stop: C.O.R.P for Rest and Relaxation

thanks for posting this walter. but yeah, we've been considering the fact that we won't have enough time to drive around from our original route. we are also considering going thru H3 and go from there. this might prevent us from backtracking but may be a little longer route.

any input???

SOME REMINDERS...

don't forget to bring your cooler with cold drinks and snacks. by the time we leave Ward Center, it will be close to lunchtime. make sure your keiki's have something to snack on or at least a good breakfast.
it looks like another hot day tomorrow so please bring umbrella's, hats and shades. it's also a good idea to bring beach chairs.

From the guy who lives on the shrimp-side of the island: it's longer from town through Wahiawa than it is from town through Kaneohe to get to Kahuku. Besides you'll have to endure the Haleiwa/Waimea traffic twice if you double back.

thanks diego. that's what i thought. and yes, i know about that traffic between haleiwa and kahuku. hopefully they are not working on sunday? walter, i guess we'll have to go through H3 tomorrow.

Makes sense. Backtracking twice sounds strange, but more driving time. either way, see you tomorrow!

gon be rough night/day... get off work at 6am, wash n clean car real quick, hopefully grab something to eat, wash up for cruise and just hope i didnt forget cash, school supplies, water, hat... and thats only if i dont crash out as soon as i get home.

Hey Ted, doesn't matter if there is construction or not. The traffic is local and tourists, it's a given. see you guys in a bit.
