Sorry Ted, I don't think Katie and I will be going on this hike. I really wanted to, but I doubt she can handle it. We were in Wal-mart yesterday and I couldn't find some stuff on my list... she was complaining after 10 minutes of walking around. And that's in an air-conditioned store!
Hopefully you guys will still be doing hikes in a couple of years when she should be able to handle this level.

right on, Elway! I'll put you in for 2 slots.
just come and we will all go thru this. don't worry, this is way easier than the aiea loop trail! i will put you in my list and will prepay for you so no backing out now!
that's ok chris, there will always be next time...if you want, we can help you carry her along the way when she gets tired...

i will be fronting up the money, and you guys can just pay me on the hike date. there is no refund so if you comit, please make sure that you go. It's $5 per person.
also, i will be changing the date to Sunday, July 27...
Hikers: Jon and wife, Justin, Joey, Andy(?), Mizzy, Elway and friend, Ted, Lani, Anthony and Erin,
Did I miss anyone? Also, to anyone who's interested, let me know by tomorrow morning. This is a novice hike so this is a nice starter trail...
