Cool hike, only took us ~2 1/2 hours, wasn't too hot either. I told everyone else who went that I'd post my pictures, but I have to rush to get to work on time so here's a sample until I have time to try prettying them up.
I should've shot the piece of debris from the aircraft (fuselage or wing?) when we saw it, but I didn't.

next hike will be at Saint Louis Heights (Wa'ahila Ridge)....a little bit of roller coaster hike, and a little more challenging than this hike. i will post the details later.

we saw the plane but unless you know its there you would miss it. all that is left is a small section couldn't make it out if it was the fuselage or the wing.

Bumpity bump, any news on the Wa'ahila Ridge hike?

Jess & Wife in front of H-3. The tunnel is *just* outside of view from this vantage point, but could be seen from a little earlier on the trail
low light -> high ISO setting -> lotsa grainyness/noise -> reason I used a PS filter to cover it up
