Since this trail won't be completely forested like the previous ones, hats, sunglasses, and what-have-you are recommended, yeah?

Hi Andy,
Thanks for mapping this out for everyone. The first 20 minutes of the hike is open but the rest should be covered up. There are some openings but there's a good amount of shade. But you can always bring a hat and sunglasses, they always come in handy...see you there!

Great pics, guys. That beehive is pretty big and we passed by it a number of times and it was just a couple of feet away and no one noticed it up until we were leaving. Good thing they were pretty mellow.

^^^well we really didn't disturb the hive but at the same time i didn't take any chances I was gone the second i saw it and warned you guys of it. I was not going to chance it and find out the hard way that one of us could be allergic to its sting(s)

Thanks again Ted for another good hike we look forward to the next one.

Justin you showed a lot heart making it to the top even if it was killing you. continue to do the hikes with us, you can only get better. just remember it is always hard to get back into shape and easy to maintain it.

and

besides Miz will have a friend tag along next time..........oh did I mention she drives a Forester.

^^^agreed! it takes a lot of will and perseverance to finish this hike. hats off to all since everyone got to the top. as short as this hike may seem, this is not an easy one. like jess said, we can only get better.

on this note, we need to agree on the date for the next hike. i will be posting part 4 very shortly...
