Hickam Car Show!!!!

All Military Subaru Owners,

I just seen in the Hickam Kuikini newspaper that on Saturday, August 7 Hickam is having there 1st Annual Auto Show and Craft Fair from 9am-3pm. I contacted the Hobby shop and said there about 15 more slots available and other car clubs have signed up. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in doing this. The only downfall to this is that it is only open to cars that have base access.

If you are interested, vote yes and post that you want to do it. The deadline for registration is the day before, Friday August 6, but I want to provide him with the info ASAP.

Thanks,

Jason

IIRC, we all got there at 8:30, with the driver's meeting at 9 a.m. After that, they have everyone divided into groups, and you run in 15 minute sessions. The cost is $75, and both times I've gone each driver ended up with around 1 hour of total track time. The only bad part is that they don't allow you to do the long course unless you pay $150 and have your car set up for wheel-to-wheel (roll cage, and other safety stuff).

How do they do the grouping??? I might do it to totally ruin the RE070 seeing that I got new tires on the car already...I might stop by the car show my friend is putting his 69 Camaro in it..

I didn't know about the Lap Session at the track was that day. Well, if I get about 6 definates for the Auto Show, I'll contact the organizer to set us up. If not, see everyone at the track. So many things to do, not enough time to do it.

<1 more hijack (sorry Jason)>

The grouping is usually done by the drivers. Usually, you'll see the STi's and faster WRX's (San) go out together, then the WRX's usually group up. The N/A guys usually run together too.

Jermiah,

Yeah, it was Doug that I talked too. He told me there are about 15 slots available. I'm looking for at least 6 for sure. Doug is pretty cool. He did say other clubs are going to be there as well.
