Hey Auto-Xers!!
Curtis and the gang are so against anyone drifting the course, to avoid jeopardizing the use of the facilities, but on the news tonite, promotors are trying to bring drifting events to the stadium. They tested it out, and the commitee is reviewing it.
Since the Nat'l Guard is now running Barbers Point, we could really use a road course, given we cut down the shrubbery and grass, and help upkeep that place. I'm dreaming i guess.....

Just so everyone knows...there was no guarantee that were going to stay at the Stadium and there is still no "official" word from the Stadium Authority yet if we will be able to continue to SCCA there. The Solo II Chiefs were just concerned that if there was anything to jeopardize our chances to race there, we didn't weant to take it.
I also saw that news story last night and I think it is a good development for Solo II. If they are considering drifting at the Stadium, then SCCA is closer to stay there.

IMO if you have one, you have the other. The impact on the facility (i.e. track surface) is much less in Solo than it is for drifting. It would be great if both can happen.
