Exclamation Help!! possible misfire

i just got my uppipe and downpipe installed today thanks to mario...but as i was driving home, my check engine light started blinking and there was hesitation...when i got to a stop, my car would stall...i'd have to ride the 1st gear in order to get going otherwise my car would just shut off...any ideas why this is happening? also, i got a cold air intake on...is this causing the problem? are lean conditions usually the cause of this?

Did you check you MAF sensor? Maybe it's not plugged in securely! Other than that I don't see how swapping out the uppipe would cause this sort of problem!

If the harness is well connected check to see if the sensor is seated well on your CAI

Which CAI?

I know of at least one (APS) that will not work with stock ECU, unless tuned for it (reflash, engine management).

I have the AEM and have had no problems

with it. Check your connections. Did you reinstall the O2 sensors and EGT sensor or do the EGT resistor mod?

Do you have a boost controller?

Do you have a boost gauge, if so what was the boost around when this happened?

The APS intake won't work with the stock ECU? I didnt' know this! How come?

What'd you do?

Jon

I want the APS FMIC and the APS intake... Recommend any other Intakes for when I get the FMIC?

I know because I've read it

and talked to Cobb. Your car will barely idle or it won't idle. APS specifically advises it must be used with engine management. but they do have a new intake that will work with stock. I've got the APS intake in my shed. Just waiting for the Cobb reflash. As for recommending another intake, what engine management are you going with?

Never been in limp mode,

so can't say if that's what could be your problem. ECU reset perhaps?

ecu reset could be the culprit.
