Thanks Pat! My Utec should come in next week. If you're not busy next weekend, can I come along on one of your tuning sessions?

Chris,

No problem at all. I need another mind to help me out, anyhow.

Dom,

That's what Goddard's and Sammy Miller's doubters said too.

I am using Axis 2.4L motor based on EJ22. It is great. Closed deck. Dartons, oil squirters.

Oil squirters do magic with water and oil temp.

Last I spoke with Ron@Axis, one of those motors made 468whp (Dynamic Dyno) at 25psi and 94 octane.

Great numbers,

for reference, Turbo-XS is getting 454hp from the Magnus 2.0 at 25 psi and 9 to 1 compression. Here's a pic showing how they've "semi-closed" it.

Wow,

no one likes 454whp from a 2.0? At 9 to 1? Tough crowd.

I didn't realize you were asking opinions.

Depending on the asking price, I'll take 4.

They make a

2.5 for the same price. No idea what kind of power it produces.

I really like the Axis

2.4 stroker. But the Magnus 2.0 is making almost identical whp with less displacement. I also like the 9 to 1 compression ratio. Don't think you can go wrong with either, my friends from TWR have a few things to say about a build. They used to supply Magnus with blocks.

I'm sure Magnus is equally as great if not better. It's just that Ron is very supportive. I think I at least call him twice a week on his cell phone and he had been more than helpful each time.
