help im having boost problems
I bought me the ver 3 blitz sbc-id +power meter 2 weeks ago and i made eurosports installed it. When i went to test it out the boost control wouldn't boost right. i set the boost to 15.5 and set gain to 5 and first gear in auto mode it would only boost under 14, second gear boost around 14, and 3th gear 15. 4th and 5th it would dramatically over boost to 20 or over . I went back to eurosports to fix the problem but they couldn't figure out what the deal is, they check the hoses and said everything looks fine no leaks or anything. I try using manual mode and played with the settings the same sheit would happen. Its been 2 weeks now and no luck... any ideas why this is happening? would anyone willing to help me out check whats the problem and see if eurosports did installed it right. thanks would be greatly appreciated.

I always use the manual settings on EBC's so I can fine tune the boost to my liking.
You're going to have to set your max. boost in 4th gear under max load.
Your boost will NOT be exactly the same in every gear.
Do a pull up a hill in 4th gear, WOT and set the boost to ~15-16psi at ~4-5k rpm.
Your boost will be a lower number in the lower gears, and higher in the higher gears.
It doesn't sound like anything is wrong with your setup, maybe just Eurosport's explanation of how it's supposed to work.

I'm sure once you get the MAX boost dialed in - you're going to be lovin' WOT!

I havent gotten good 4th gear WOT runs and I keep seeing wierd boost levels so I up it a little then when I do get a good patch of road I see boost creeping into the 16s. Guess Im heading to H3 for a bit today. Many thanks.

Try these settings in speedmap:
1st: 43 set/15 gain
2nd: 47set/15 gain
3rd: 52set/13 gain
4th: 55set/13 gain
ending channel 4 at the desired mph. The highest setting that I have had my sbcid is at 63 with a gain of 16 which gave which gave me 17 pounds and fuel cut just thought I'd share.
