I always use the manual settings on EBC's so I can fine tune the boost to my liking.

You're going to have to set your max. boost in 4th gear under max load.

Your boost will NOT be exactly the same in every gear.

Do a pull up a hill in 4th gear, WOT and set the boost to ~15-16psi at ~4-5k rpm.

Your boost will be a lower number in the lower gears, and higher in the higher gears.

It doesn't sound like anything is wrong with your setup, maybe just Eurosport's explanation of how it's supposed to work.

Richard thanks for this explanation. I think this is exactly what is messing me up with the profec. I havent gotten good 4th gear WOT runs and I keep seeing wierd boost levels so I up it a little then when I do get a good patch of road I see boost creeping into the 16s. Guess Im heading to H3 for a bit today. Many thanks.

I'm sure once you get the MAX boost dialed in - you're going to be lovin' WOT!

Have fun Dave I drive on H3 everyday and have to resist the temptation (I'm such a good boy)....especially since I havent seen a cop gunning people at night for 2yrs or so

Just watch that speedo.....wot runs up H3 in 4th gets that needle up there very quickly and you can't even tell

Try these settings in speedmap:

1st: 43 set/15 gain
2nd: 47set/15 gain
3rd: 52set/13 gain
4th: 55set/13 gain

ending channel 4 at the desired mph. The highest setting that I have had my sbcid is at 63 with a gain of 16 which gave which gave me 17 pounds and fuel cut just thought I'd share.
