Help: a/c problem for bugeye wrx
I need help. My a/c is cold for only a few minutes, then blows warm air. Also makes squeaky noise sometimes. I just changed the belts. Is it the compressor? Thanks in advance for your help.

Did you bother checking the refrigerant? Check the pressure. Seems like you are low. Turn the car on, and the A/C Full blast, look at the pulley, if it is spinning and stopping most likely you are low on A/C refrigerant, or have a leak somewhere. Or the compressor is going bad. Most likely not, depending on mileage

I just recently bought the car, and a/c wasn't working at all, so I had it recharged. I also changed the accesory belt. The a/c works for around 10 minutes, sometimes shorter. Then, compressor just kicks off and blows regular air. Has anyone had this problem, or know what is wrong? Thanks in advance for your help.

it's probably the expansion valve and it needs to get replaced. Before diving into that... check the lower AC hose that connects to the compressor. More specifically where the metal and rubber connect to each other. If its oily their you could also have a leak there. If there is a piece of foam there move it out of the way to check. Most likely though it'll be the expansion valve.

Yeah if it was the compressor clutch you could just rev the engine and it would blow cold again...or at least that was how it was the last time I had a car with a bad A/C compressor clutch.
I'd try those other trouble-shoots first. Worse comes to worse you have to replace the compressor...hopefully it is just a loose hose or a hose-type leak.
