Depends what you want to do. The iPhone and any RIM device are completely different. If exchange sync/push is what you want, the BB does it perfectly fine. If you like to play some games, surf the net, do misc stuff the iPhone rocks. Exchange is available on the iPhone but it's horrid and does not work if your exchange server is LAN only.
Comparing BB and iPhone is basically comparing apples to oranges.
Get the 3G S instead since it's a much better model speed wise if you are considering the 3G. It's only another $100 bucks. Plus, with voice recognition and commands, it will beat out the BB in a few weeks when holding devices will be banned in the streets.

Depends on which blackberry, and depends on what you want out of the phone, I like the blackberry for usability like email and texting, whereas the Iphone is a cool gadget to play games on, surf the net and watch videos.

For work...BB without question.
iphone may be pretty freakin' awesome but the BB is the phone most supported by workplaces I know of.
For fun...iphone no doubt.
My work gives me a BB Pearl and I love the damned thing so much. I have just a regular LG ohone for personal use.

I really use my BB for work (Email). Also I dont know where I would be without the BB messenger. The Iphone is really awesome for games and video plus all the new features on the 3G-S.

Iphone > blackberry...
Since blackberry started to go mainstream...product as well as applications especially when having technical problems have gone down hill...and their customer service...well...
as for Iphone...they have a much larger company as well as team to sort out technical problems...
as for me...gonna stick with the G1 phone though since i like t-mobiles service...they've always treated me right whenever i had a problem...

I have both the iPhone 3G and the G1...I'm torn since I'm happy with t-mobile, but the iPhone does rock. Since the iPhone is my company phone, it works well for our needs...
