Well one day when I was merging on the free way, I was in 3rd gear about 4000rpm. The rpms would raise and fall , so I shifted to 4th gear and same thing. I was small kine pounding it to get up to speed with the other cars.I took it to ryan and he tightened all my hoses and stuff, but it still does it. Anyone know whats wrong or had the same problem? it is very irritating. thanks in advance

sounds like a vacuum leak somewhere. i had the same problem once upon a time.. check everything from intake to inlet to turbo to ic. recirc hose, etc

mods? sounds like a boost leak...or if your using a bov or bypass ...make sure its in proper working order

does it do it at idel or only when on the gas in boost?

It only does it when I am on the gas in boost.

I am running the stock BOV,uppipe,downpipe, cold air intake, turbo back exhaust(catless).

sounds like a vac problem. if you check all the hoses and can't find anything wrong, check your bov. does it blow off still? is it just as lound or softer? you have a leak in pressure/vac from somewhere.

If it does it at idle it is the idle air control valve. It happened to my car and it is an easy fix.

no it only does it when i go freeway, accelleration.sorry cannot spell =-(
