kinda glad i will be leaving now. i know where i'm going has smog checks but those are easy to get around. this state is so messed up in the way they do things. it's no wonder the rest of the country thinks we live in shacks and aren't part of America (general stereotype i know). I got a ticket the other day for loud exhaust and the cop said that the reg states that he can give me a ticket if my exhaust is audible from 30ft. 30ft!! i can hear any car from 30 F***ING FT!!! I can hear my alternator from 30ft. He claimed that it was because people complain about the noise and b/c of all the racing. Well I wasn't racing, and I wasn't that loud. I was driving 25mph in 4th gear and trying my hardest not to make noise. So tell me how my "loud" exhaust is any different from the trucks that go growling past me or the choppers or the SUV's on DUBS. I have no more patience for the BS laws here. I advise you all to just not pay your taxes or something because this is way out of hand. does anyone have a chopper i can borrow? i wanna go sit outside some of these lawmakers houses and just rev untill i run out of gas. what a crock. i suggest you email in folks, i did and i'm not even gonna be here.
