Happy Easter Everyone, and Aloha....for now.
It’s a weird day today. And I’m sorry if I kept some of you guys in the dark. But I sold my STI today. I did not advertise it anywhere or put a part-out party...just word of mouth, until the right buyer at the right time came in. And it was quick and smooth. I guess you can say, “another one bites the dust”. And I’m sad to let her go. But it’s been 5 great years, and 60k+ miles of pure torque and power...I can say that I enjoyed my car to the fullest. At least she will be going to a good home.
It’s weird because I normally don’t get attached to cars as much. But this car is different, with so many stories to tell from every part that was installed, to every nook and cranny...there is a story to tell. But then, I also realized that it’s the people who I will miss the most...the camaraderie and brotherhood of HIIC is just awesome.
It’s weird because I’m not saying goodbye, but probably will take a long break. Priorities and lifestyle has changed and it’s just time to move on. I will still be around so please no tear-jerker comments on here. I can say that I made lots of friends here and they will always will be.
If you want any hiking hook-ups, just send me a message on FB. You guys know where to find me. The HIIC Ninja will most likely carry on the legacy of the infamous HIIC Cruises, I’m sure.
In the meantime, I will go get myself a base Ford Fiesta. I’ll put a super charger on it and beat some ‘lil *** neons. Then I’ll put some chrome plated rim covers and muffler tip from Walmart and start smoking some imports, y’all!
Well, I’ll see you guys around...(from my rearview mirror).

I'm loving mine and the fact that it doesn't attract any attention to me is a bonus.... I really like it that it's stealth.
I'll be keeping mine for a few more years until the new breed of Subies arrive...
I guess to each his own...
Ted, I hope your next car will be a better one than the last! Think positive!

Is the LGT that bad?

Sad to hear that Ted...at least it's gone to a good home.
Dude...I miss my Leggie...you'd sell yours?
No, don't get me wrong I LOVE the car to death. I just have no motivation to keep modding it (nor the funds). Even though there's tons of mods I can do still, personally I feel like I've "maxed out" on the car. I also love how under the radar this car is, but unfortunately that's what makes it so darn hard to sell. No one knows about them, or their potential. I just want a new project but can't afford to keep the lgt also.

You should see some of the drivers' faces of total disbelief and shock when they notice 'grandpa's' Leggie keeping up with them and then passing them... very quickly.
And no matter hard they try, they simply can't catch up. It's a great feeling...
I simply LOVE being in permanent stealth mode.
