Hmmmmm,

a turboback is exhaust from the turbo back. You port the wastegate on the turbo, not the exhaust, because the wastegate is part of the turbo. OK?

yeah i know what to port, but i'm asking cuz i heard you get boost creep with a turboback unless you port the turbo. jus wanted to find a reliable source to maybe get this done in the near future. i dont have the exhaust yet, but i'll cancel the order if i dont find a shop or person to do the port job.

You don't neccessarily get creep. Maybe its different with STi's, and maybe you have one as your name suggests, but I haven't had any creep on my WRX.
If you do have an STi, bolt-on parts doon't do ****e for power. You really need to tune the ECU.

even with the port n polish it still doesnt cure the boost creep and tuning the ecu will do nothing to help out the boost creep issuse as well. What you should do is invest in a boost controller. Found out the manual boost controllers really dont do as much as the electronic boost controllers do. But the only fix to the boost creep is to get a stronger wastegate spring or bigger turbo.

but it only happens when you open up the exhaust like a tbe. So it wouldnt be subarus best intrest to fix the problem when they wont cover warranty when you mod your car.

ahh ok, i didnt know it only happens when you changed something.

too bad, that sucks, guess you guys have to just keep it stock then, unless you want to spend more to fix it. which isnt worth it to me.

Do you have the exhaust yet? Do a search you are not always going to get boost creep or CEL. I now have a TB exhaust and no problems and Mach5 has had two different DP and the stock and about 3-4 exhaust and no boost creep. Get the exhaust waite to see if your even going to get boost creep before you start doing un-needed work. And I hope your joking about the weed. And Greg if your talking about Dan's DP I picked it up the other day.
