I'm assuming that the answer is no, but is the Cobra as hard to handle as it was in GT3? The World Classic is my next series.
Speaking of hard to handle at high speeds, I won the Lighweight with the Elise, but either I just didn't have it setup right or it's a hos (hunk of poo). Maybe it needs a wing.

Hey answer to question up there.
I used the Shelby Cobra 427 and hells yeah it's hard to control. You gotta be light and to the point with your turns and basically slow down much more than you would one of the newer race cars.
Oh and also...I am currently on race 3 of the 1000 Miles! Race Series and it is SUCKING THE LIFE out of me! It takes about 31/2 to 3 hours to finish each race in the series. I'm using the Cobra again but on B-spec so I am just destroying the computer cars by lapping them like 7 times.
Anyways, my progress so far is that I finish all the races that I can with my current cars. Then I run the Japan GT whatever (the first series race in the Japan Events menu) series twice to make about $1 million. Then I buy all kinds of stuffs and race again.
The only thing I haven't been able to handle is the Supercar Series in the Professional Events because the car keeps crashing on the New York track no matter what car I use. However, this is because I am only racing it on B-spec because I am too lazy to finish the Int B license

if you can swing it on longer races, A-spec it and lap the other cars for the first few, pit in and change it to B spec once you know you are ahead. My technique is to use a car that 2x the power of the cars I'm racing

The New York track is the bomb!! But damn... 3 1/2 hours race... that's crazy. I think I'm f**king around too much in GT4. I bought too many cars~!!
Just picked up a 22B two days ago.

^^^In my opinion...our little "exploit" to get more money makes the game too easy because you just run that race series once...then sell the car you get and go buy whatever car you need for the next race...put on every mod and dominate.
Yeah and I'm hardcore...or at least my B-spec driver is hardcore because I just "set it and forget it" then go grab a soda and play on my computer. I'm very efficient.

The LM Camaro. I'm winning the Japan Championship with it right now, too.
Edit. Ironically, it's still not the car to win the last championship in the Professional area. I don't have a worthy car in all of the 58 that I have.

Do what Jason, Francis and myself are doing. B-spec El capitan to win the minolta, and use the minolta to b-spec nurburgring and win the F1, then b-spec the pro hall with the F-1. Or you could always use the minolta in the pro hall. B-spec mode is awesome.

I can't make the b-spec work for me at all. My bspec driver is such a puss. When I use it, I usually start off in 'push' and not 'overtake', at least until I get on someone's tail. My driver HAS to stay on his frickin line, so he slows down extra slow if someone is ahead of him.
