GT35R Kit advice
I hear lots of good and bad news of the kit. Thinking about purchasing it. Is it good for daily driving or what. What is the longevity of the kit on stock internals. Any advice would help.

My questions to you are:
1. How much power are you looking for?
2. What EMS you are planning on getting?
3. Is it going to be q daily driver ?
4. Do you Drag race / auto cross / etc, etc,,,
It all depends on you, what are you looking for/ budget.....

Wasn't thinking! I have an 05 STI currently on Stage 2(UTEC, TBE, Intake) all TurboXS. My goal is 450 AWH. Going to be used for drag if it ever opens up and once in a blue moon autocross. Thanks for all the reply.

Expect crapa$$ gas mileage if you're using it as a daily driver. Driveability should be okay. Longevity of the internal (& tranny) depends on the way you drive it and how much boost you're pushing.
BTW, there's no track on Oahu at the moment if you are moving here. No 4WD dyno either so I suggest you get everything in Washington done b4 u ship yo car here.

no u asked me i never conviced you lol . u asked if it would be smarter to do internals then get the kit so you can save your motor b/c of the reasearch you did and seen that there were a few sti's that blew there motor with that kit on 14psi. and yes internals is the safer route.
also isn't the gt35r made for the sti???
the chocie is up to you tho for the final say. try calling some of the tuners and see what they say. just a thought.

GT35r is not a bolt on turbo, It needs a custom made Downpipe, and custom location, because of the turbo set up, how it sits in the engine bay....
Yep I agree,,,go with forged internals, ie,,,Pistons and Rods,,,should be good,,,
