Gripping on Maui

I hear that its picking up here on maui.. Some drifters are turning cheek..

myself as well as a few others have been trying to get the car scene booming again.. everyone usually follows the trend.. and i've got a bunch of followers already =)

Airport runs.. Haleakala runs.. Kahakuloa runs.. Hana runs on occasion.. Now that the super ferry is running.. maybe Aloha Stadium will see some Maui guys ..

hell maybe the SCCA track here will see more people.. =)

even before the conception of the ferry I have dreamed of taking my STI or even my GC to Haleakala.......maybe this summer I will get a chance.

When we hiked the Haleakala crater last year, I promised myself to bring my sti at the summit and take a picture of it against the sunrise...the Superferry answered that question...it's just a matter of time...

Are you available weekdays? I was thinking the crater traffic may be lighter....
Also the park service said the Kipahulu section was closed due to the weather, was wondering if you knew anything about that?

Weekdays is possible, but I'd have to get off from work. The Kipahulu section of Hana Hwy. was recently closed due to weather, but I don't know if it opened up. This was as recently as last week.

Are the protestors still planning on being at the docks? I heard that they were kicking and punching people's cars as they left the dock...that's messed up.

If I went there and had my Suby I would buy two bottles of Pepper Spray and shoot them out both sides as I drove by those guys.

Don't know about the protestors. I think that stuff has calmed down.
