i just spoke with these guys also today. i got setup with an account also approved for 12k. i asked why it sounds too good to be true and he said basically it is too good. the companies that back sport compact pro give them money to give us. we sport vinyls for the shows and races and get paid to do it. on another note you dont just have to go to the events you actually have to enter FOUR events per year. pro sport compact will pay entry for any event you enter and win. the events can be local like a stree car shoot out at hrp or a national event like HIN. anyways my contract should be in the mail shortly. hope this helps for anybody that was interested.

Don't mean to dig up an old topic but I had to post on this. I had signed up for the sponsorship and it's pretty much a scam. They aren't providing sponsorship. They are providing "discounted" parts. And the discount is really not anything. I just spoke to them today about a supercharger for my Mustang and their "discounted price" is 500 dollars more then what I can buy it from a distributor I work with. They say they are covering the difference between retail and their price which equals out to nothing. All they are is getting you a better then retail price. So in fact they aren't actually giving you anything. The fact they call it a sponsorship is a lie. If you want me to put your name on my car you are gonna have to give me more then crappy wholesale pricing.

ITS A SCAM DO NOT SEND THEM YOUR MONEY!!! Like pony said, you can never get ahold of them, they always tell you to call back. I have had them as a sponsor for about 6-8 months and I have yet to recieve anything free or any good deals.

I called up a couple months back because I messed up the front part of my kit was going to order a new one. Number one the guy dissed the kit [the kit i have is hot www.cardomain.com/id/elixar, then couldnt even beat nopi.com prices how lame is that? Call again looking for rims and tires, once again had to play phone tag for about 3-4 weeks and when i finaly got to talk to somebody they had beyond horrible deals.

The $88 fee is for the dvd movie they send you, which is pretty ****ty too. So pretty much you pay $88 for a dvd. Should I get my lawor involved
But they are just there to sell you parts. They are one HUGE scam and should be put down for that.
caveat emptor.

its all good... what other people think...for ex... I was planning of ordering the helix downpipe from grupe s....its 250 + 60 shipping to hawaii thats was the lowest i ever found one (great price)...well sport compact pro gets me the same one at whole sale price which came out to 189... so i pay 95 bucks and they pay the other half....and shipping is free..... so I guess its not a scam for me...its all good....thunder_sti

thanks for your input anyways....jose
