hmm didn't see any of you guys tonight. BTW I was running my friends stage 3 s4. Very disappointing that it only ran a 13.1@104.

Congrats on the good runs again, Wes.

As for the rear diff 'thump' I still get that, too, but not as bad as when my car was new. the first couple times I ran it at the track it was BAD, but it's better now.

See you next week

congrats wes..

i too hear a thud from the rear diff every now and then depending on how i release my clutch. also when i was playing with my sway bar last week (found out it i had a loose bolt) by pushing the rear end up and down with my hand i could heard the gas sloshing around. feels so much like a tin can back there.

grats wes....I was hoping to have a S4 that could keep up for you last night, but oh wells.

Richard....13.1 is disappointing considering that this has car bigger turbos and about 8K more in mods than my car. I was hoping to get good a time in it to help justify the expense. HAHAHA the owners wife is gonna kill him when she finds out that he spent 8k for a car that's just as fast as mines.

Time to play "LIE TO THE WIFE"! Don Pardo, what does our friend with the less than top-notch performing Audi take home if he wins?

thanks for the compliments! Reggie I saw you driving a silver S4. I was in the usual spot.

Know what the funny thing is, this is the first time that it's making that thud. Only happened lastnight.

maybe the thud is from some residual "dying clutch shift technique" that you hadn't worked out yet. Just a thought.

does this happen between shifts? I used to have the same thing when I install my clutch. Only during aggressive driving. It went away after a few more break-in miles.

Wes is using the TXS unichip and I have the Vishnu chip. Main difference is that I hit fuel cut at 17.5 lbs and Wes can pump it up to 21 lbs . God, I actually miss my TXS map. I still have the harness, I may need to have my chip remapped for my FMIC too. hmmm I better call TXS.
