Graphic Artist and Photoshop People...I need you! A chance to help the community!

As most of you know I work for Aloha United Way (HI's largest non-profit). Every year, we have a dedicated group of volunteer executives who help us to raise money for the community. For each group we put together a little plaque that's meant to thank them for their MANY HOURS of work.

This year, I need to put this picture on the plaque. However, my boss doesn't want that palm tree up in the top center because it looks like it's coming out of the guy's head.

Obviously, I have no skills in such things and was hoping that one of you could get rid of the palm tree and help us out. I can't pay anyone to do this but I can call it an "in-kind donation" and you can write it off of your 2005 taxes (too late for 2004). Basically, the way it works is that you tell me how much it WOULD HAVE cost and I'll write you a letter for your tax purposes.

BTW...the photographer has released copyright on this photo

I need this done by Friday, 1/7/04

Thanks,

Blake Pang

D'oh

The file is too big...I can't host it or anything because I don't know how.

Can I get some email addresses or can you all email me and I'll attach it in a reply?

blake@auw.org

P.S. It appears that the tree is in front of a corner of a wall.

Further Information:

What to take out:
Yes, the palm tree in the top center of picture behind the guy that's 3rd from the left in the back row.

FYI:
The palm is in front of a corner so uhm yeah...I dunno what you would do

Cropping:
Needs to be cropped to 6 X 8 just like the one in my original post. (The one that Brandy is hosting is the original un-cropped version.

ahhh.. I give up... this is pretty hard... I completely removed the elevator in the picture and I tried smoothing it out so that the light is evenly distributed against the wall... also did the piller and it came out ok... it just the picture isn't sharp enough to get the detail for the people...

I'm deleting it now
