got a question?

if i up grade my turbo to vf39 on my 06wrx, do i need to use a different oil to run with? if so, wat oil would u perfer? my guess i tink synthetic , royal purple,moble1?

you can continue to run the same oil you use now. although I would recommend switching to synthetic. personally I use Royal purple in my car

^^^hahahaha my friend in the mainland just switched over for his drag sti to synpower valvoline and said its the shiznit i was thinking about trying it out....its supposed to be better than mobile1.....although i do swear by royal purple myself!!

right now i'm using royal purple...but when i upgrade my turbo i'm not sure which oil i should use because a friend of mine says its better to run synthetic or mobile1...

I too use Mobil 1 only because Subaru Dealership uses it..But I remember hearing that there's a chart with the ratings of all the OILS out there and Mobil1 was like on the bottom of the Chart. Also from what I remember is the SYNTHETIC is what my brother calls designer molecules which burns at twice the Farehnheit of Traditional oils thus doesnt evap at high temps. I guess thats why Race Car's uses Synthetic. Also there consistency is up there. Thats all I remember..BLAh Blah Blah. If you wanna go deep into it, just goggle which i gotta read up on again.

i use mobil 1 and havent had any problems. of course it comes down to what your preference is.

royal purple is synthetic...........unless I have been mistaken all these years or they also make dino oil that i don't know about

you sure subaru uses mobil 1? if im not mistaken, i thought they told me they use amsoil.

i used mobil 1 the 2 times i changed oil in my car...been meaning to switch to amsoil but the ex is holding out on me..lol.
