got into accident...bodyshop questions.
i got into a minor accident on the H1 tonight. rearended a buick. the guy had no damage on him. but my front passenger side fender got buckled and bumper got stripped out of paint. nothing serious though. no engine or structural damage so it seems. at least the guy was cool about it.
anyone know of a good bodyshop to fix fenderbenders?
punchbowl is near me but i am afraid they are too expensive. headlights were scratched up so I can either go JDM or just let it be. sidemarkers are cracked...but i was gonna get them STI cf ones anyway...i just need the fender to be popped out and realigned then repaint on the bumper flares and fender.

ACME does GREAT work - but they're expensive. Worth the coin if you want it perfect though.

You can talk to Dwayne or Jonathan (father and son) @ 536-6438. Tell them "Richard from Lexus" told you to call. Don't know if it'll mean anything - but you'll feel VERY cool saying it.

then i would still need to paint the bumper...still a no go for me...but i'll try see how much will it cost to repair it....the impreza's pretty tough, withstood a 20 mph impact without buckling...the only thing that cracked was my sidemarkers...but i'm gonna look at the good side...i'll finally get off my *** to paint my sideskirts!...but no rims for me for a while.

On your list...I'll look into it but I haven't got a chance to lately...too much on the road lately and work...I'm off on Wednesday, I'll send ya a pm then.

you can get a new fender for $105.
and a new bumper, if needed, for about $130.
you can get both painted off the car for under $300 or so.(person that works at schuman, OR probably ACME that Richard has used, b/c they painted the sideskirts cheaper, right?) I would recommend getting the fender blended though, maybe. You can have it painted off the car, put it on, then see if it needs to be blended at all.
