Thumbs up Good Chinese restaurants in Honolulu?

Hey guys, do you all have any suggestions for a good Chinese restaurant in Honolulu. I'm a suckah for plate lunch, but after a while my super-FOB side kicks in and I want to sit down to a nice Chinese meal. Any recommendations for dim sum? I've heard from some people that Hee Hing on Kapahulu was good? And Maple Garden on Eisenberg? Are the restaurants in Chinatown any good (even I didn't have the guts to try them hehe...)

I got gouged last time I was in Honolulu - I took my lolo self to some tourist trap in the Hyatt Regency on Kalakaua cuz some Japanese freebie magazine said it was good... It sucked so much haha, the dim sum was lousy and expensive. So any suggestions? Thanks!

I'm still a relative noob to Hawaii, but I like the dimsum at Hong Kong HarborView in Aloha Tower.

It's not Chinese...

But go to Sorabol! Back behind Ala Moana (on Keaumoku sp?) You can get Korean or Japanese... by the way, what is dim sum? I'm really only familiar with one north Asian country.

I know a super cute girl whose parent's own "Country Express" (the hot sister works there too) across from Puck's Alley. Kind of a fast "local food" + Chinese food eatery for University students...

Etchy Lives: Hey we got Sorabol here in S.F. too I'm a sucker for Gina's on King St. when it comes to Korean food in Honolulu hehe. Dim sum is a (mainly) Southern Chinese food - it's mainly small bite-sized dumplings that take are very labor intensive and usually feature fresh seafood. There are also other things like mini baked maunapua and custard tarts, along with egg rolls and potstickers and stuff like that. You should try it -- I dunno anyone that doesn't like it!
Mach 5 WRX: I haven't had a chance to go there, but I think Maple Garden is Northern Chinese/Mandarin style. I read some reviews for other Northern Chinese places in that damn Aloha Street magazine, but I wouldn't trust it since it ripped me off Beijing in Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center looked pretty good, but I didn't try it so
IS2Scooby: Are Country Express and Puck's Alley near UH?

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. Keep'em coming! I might just make to Honolulu again this summer for try these restaurants!

For Dim Sum: Golden Palace on the Makai Side of King Street/Maunakea Street. All the Dim Sum plates are only $1.50! the best kept secret on Oahu!! Parking can be accessed from Nimitz Hwy.

For Chinese Food: Little Village located on Smith Street/N. Pauahi Street. They have parking in the rear!! -updated/new age- chinese cuisine!!

Golden Duck on King Street next to Piikoi. Very similar to golden eagle (I think they had the same owner before)
