Going to Hawaii
Hey guys, i'm planning to book a trip to hawaii for spring break. I've never been there and have always wanted to go. So this spring break, i'm taking my girl and some friends with me.
Can any of ya give me some pointers on where are the best places to stay? Or perhaps where not to stay?
I've looked online for flight+hotel packages and found some good deals. But I'm not quite sure which island would be the best to go to for the first time.
So if any of you fellow WRX owners can help me out, I'll greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

I've visited Maui, Oahu, Lanai, and Big island and if you havnt decided yet I would say go to the big island. I loved all the islands but I felt I was getting away from it all more on both Lanai and Big Island than the others. Maui was nice but seemed a bit to touristy say? (it probably was just where i was)
So heres my thoughts on the islands:
Kuahi - Never been but heard its great
Oahu - Great if you head out of honolulu: it is a great city but If your trying to relax I just felt it felt too much like a hot humid denver (traffic, noise) though the North shore is great.
Maui - Cant really say because i was there for so short and I didnt really like where I was.
Lanai - VERY VERY nice but if you dont have a lot of money at your disposal dont go because it is very expensive.
Molokai (sp?) - Never been but also said to be really nice
Big Island - My favorite island of the bunch. Much less developed in most places though you dont ever feel like you are leaving civilization. Kona is a great town that rarely gets rain (except lately jesus... 7inches in one storm in Kona ) and is always really great. Also some good resturants and it is always fun to go over and see the volcanos.
I used to live in St. John in the USVI so I'm more used to the kind of "funky" island feel so that may be why I am so much inclined to go to the big island and lanai.
Cheers
