GC8 to WRX engine swap

I was just wondering if there was anyone that could do this job on island. I wouldnt mind dropping 7,000-7,500 on the complete job. Is there anyone qualified or capable? Any wiring experts?

Sonic Motorsports wants to do one and can bring in an engine. Perhaps being the guinea pig will give you a better price?

Im all for it. I just need a good price quote. I unfortunately am not funded by my parents like some riceboys Well, I have a source for the complete parts for a swap. Its going for 4,500 for all the parts needed. Maybe they can get it for even cheaper than that. I'd like to get something like this started because I know a lot of the guys that own the older body style love it. Maybe this thread can spark some more interests. Thanks for all the replies, is there someone at sonicmotorsports to speak to specifically about this?

You'll end up using about 25% of the WRX's harness/wires after completion. You need the WRX's crossmember and control arms. I have to ask again, but I think you can use the GC8's pinion with the WRX's rack. The WRX's radiator won't fit so use the GC8's. And, I think you can retain the GC8's ac with some bending.

I'll post more once I remember.
