Gas Mileage since they added Ethanol?

i'd say i'm getting 2-3 mpg less than before eth. but i started to do something everytime i'd fill up i'd disconnect my battery. since then averaging 22-24 mpg, which is about 2-3 mpg better than b4 doing this experiment. Someone else needs to try this to prove it works. i'm not convinced yet, it's been only 3 fillups so far.

I still get the same gas milage, about 19-20mpg.

Haven't noticed a difference. Still averaging about 19 mpg. But then again since HRP closed, I'm not burning a whole lot of fuel on Friday nights!

Disconnecting the battery would reset the ECU to baseline right? Would that mean that the gas/ethanol mixture affects the octane? I know the pumps show the same octane as before but if 808subarus' theory is correct, the ECU is seeing something different.
